Man walking in front of brick wall

This incredible mural is down the alleyway behind Eborn, one of Salt Lake’s oldest and top-ranked used book shops (source).  Art like this is scattered among the city, be sure to always be on the lookout for all the amazing and inspirational artwork out there.

I came across another blog that is a super helpful guide when you want to know about all the activities that are going on in the Salt Lake area. The saltproject is a blog that posts about places to eat, celebrations, activities, advice, etc. The endless information is incredibly insightful if you are looking for something to do in the area. Not only does it have a lot of information about Salt Lake, but pretty much anywhere in Utah that you can imagine.

Water Slide

One example of something they posted about was Slide the City. Slide the City is a way fun activity where you can waterslide with a tube throughout a designated city. The view of Salt Lakes is unbeatable, its overlooks the entire downtown area. Look out for events like this and many more that the saltproject will post about! (source)

If you are looking for some inspiration on where to eat for the night. Check out theslcfoodie.com. She has reviewed food around the greater Salt Lake City area. She has so many helpful insights on the best things to order on the menu and where to find those little hole in the wall restaurants in SLC.

Sugar Cookies

For example, these cookies are from a cute little soda shop in Holladay. There is indoor and outdoor seating or for those in a hurry or who just don’t want to get out of the car, you can take advantage of the drive-through (source).

So, whether you’re living in Salt Lake or just visiting for a little while, be sure to check out these blogs to get the best out of your stay!
